Attack at Housing Executive office

We condemn the burning of a car belonging to a member of our staff which was parked outside our offices at Rathcoole.
Our staff in Rathcoole play an important role working in communities delivering good housing services and are committed to helping people. We are at a loss to explain why this incident took place.
It was only the immediate actions of our staff who were quickly on the scene with fire extinguishers which prevented a more serious incident.
We take the safety of our staff very seriously and would urge anyone with information relating to the attack to contact the PSNI on 0845 600 8000.
