Mrs Coffey lives in Camlough and is a former Principal Civil Engineer with DRD Roads Service, where she had a long and successful career.
She joined the Board of Governors for Southern Regional College in 2007 and has just been re-appointed for a further 4 year term. Mrs Coffey is currently vice- chair of the Governing Body and is a member of the Staffing Committee and also the Finance and General Purposes Committee.
Mrs Coffey is also a non-executive Director of the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company having just been re-appointed for a further 4 year term. She chairs the Safety Committee and is a member of the Finance Committee.
In 2010 Mrs Coffey was appointed to the Board of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for a 5 year term.
Mrs Coffey is a Fellow of Incorporated Highway Engineers, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
