All tenders for construction, supplies and services with an estimated value exceeding £30,000 in value will be advertised on this website, giving a minimum period of notice of 10 working days notice.

Tenders for supplies and services will be advertised in at least two newspapers which circulate throughout Northern Ireland giving a minimum period of 10 working days notice.

We also advertise on an annual basis in at least two newspapers circulating throughout Northern Ireland directing interested parties to construction tender opportunities on our website.

In addition, we also advertise supplies and services tenders with an estimated value exceeding £139,893 and construction tenders with an estimated value exceeding £3,497,313 in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU)

Firms wishing to tender for construction related work MUST be pre-qualified by Constructionline and comply with the requirements of the Buildsafe (NI) initiative.

We may also use a call-off contract awarded by another public sector body such as the Office of Government Commerce or the Central Procurement Directorate, Department of Finance and Personnel provided their procurement procedures involved adequate competition and achieved reasonable value for money. If this is the case then we comply with the relevant procurement protocol agreed by the public sector body.
