Important news about the Boiler Replacement Scheme

The pilot Boiler Replacement Scheme ends on 31st March 2012.
The pilot scheme is currently fully subscribed which means that we are not in a position to accept new applications.
If your application has been successful please make sure the work is completed by the 31st March 2012 to ensure you receive the allowance. Installers should phone their grants office before the end of March to confirm that the works have been completed. At payment stage they will be required to provide a Minor Works Electrical Certificate (if no new circuit has been added) and confirmation of application for Building Regulation approval.
If, for any reason, it is not possible to complete the work before the end of March 2012, please phone the grants office to discuss the position with them.
Although the present scheme ends in March, it is possible that a different type of boiler replacement scheme, with different eligibility criteria, may be introduced later in 2012. If any new scheme becomes available, we will contact those people with details as soon as we can.
