Eighty four Housing Executive tenants in Magherafelt District are having their existing single glazed windows replaced with new uPVC windows as part of a scheme costing £230,000.
The scheme includes homes in Draperstown and Desertmartin. The windows being replaced in these properties had come to the end of their useful life. By replacing them now tenants should benefit from greater energy efficiency, noise reduction as well as lower heating costs.
The scheme is being carried out by PK Murphy Construction Ltd, our partners for this type of work, and their representatives will be liaising with residents and the Housing Executive during the course of the contract to ensure that the work achieves the high standards set and expected.
