Our Community Cohesion team has made a video which shows the ways some of our communities have welcomed newcomers and celebrated the new diversity in their areas.
There are examples of projects supported by the Housing Executive across Northern Ireland and ideas for planning projects. If your group is a member of the Housing Community Network and would like to start a race relations project in your area please contact your local District Office or Linda Hutchinson, Race Relations Officer.
We are aware of our changing role in providing quality housing services to an increasingly diverse community. Our Race Relations Policy brings together our key responsibilities and looks at how they promote equality of opportunity and good relations between people of different ethnic backgrounds in Northern Ireland.
