Your Neighbourhood
Introduction
We believe everyone has the right to be housed with a real choice of decent, accessible and affordable housing options, including integrated housing. Community division and segregation can sometimes prevent us making the best use of existing housing. So we promote good community relations wherever possible.
We understand the impact that anti social behaviour (ASB) can have on people's lives, and we have introduced policies and procedures to tackle problems head on. We will not tolerate any form of ASB taking hold in our neighbourhoods, and we work with local communities, the police and other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that such behaviour does not go unchallenged.
We are committed to helping make sure that all residents have a good quality of life free from crime, anti social behaviour and social division.
Over the years we have made a substantial contribution to community relations through our policies and initiatives. Examples include our local presence in communities and our long-standing relationship with community groups through the Housing Community Network.
