What is anti-social behaviour?

Anti-Social Behaviour can cover a wide range of behaviour, from low level noise nuisance to serious harassment.

These are some examples of

Anti-Social Behaviour:

  • Unacceptable behaviour towards other people or groups of people because they are perceived to be “different” - for example because of their race, their religious or political beliefs, their sexual orientation or because they have a physical disability or mental health issue.

  • Violence, or the threat of violence

  • Noise nuisance (for example, rowdy parties, loud music or TVs).

  • Vandalism & graffiti

  • Carrying out domestic violence

  • Parking vehicles inconsiderately, abandoning vehicles or creating a nuisance from vehicles.

  • Selling drugs from a Housing Executive property or using it for other unlawful purposes
