2014-93 Director of Asset Management 22 January 2015

Salary: Up to £86,303
The post holder will be responsible for delivering effective asset management across the NIHE’s property portfolio.  Coordinating the effective implementation of the Asset Management Strategy and Investment Plans will ensure a robust approach is taken to the management of assets and lead to increased efficiency in the strategic use of the assets. The post holder will ensure the delivery of a significant programme of investment works involving the management of major projects, together with providing strategic direction in relation to the delivery of responsive and grounds maintenance activity. This involves ensuring that consultants, contractors, the in house DLO and direct staff work together effectively to deliver the global investment to quality and cost thresholds.
At a personal level, we are looking for an ambitious individual who enjoys a challenge, is innovative but is also risk aware. A demonstrable commitment to public sector values of openness, honesty, accountability and collaboration is vital.
The successful candidate will have comprehensive working knowledge and considerable senior management experience drawn from the field of Asset Management.
2014-89 Temporary Relief Concierge 5 January 2015
Location: Mount Vernon / Rathcoole / Belvoir
Rate of Pay: £7.59 per hour
The Concierge Service comprises a team of uniformed staff providing a “round the clock” user friendly reception and customer care programme to ensure all residents in the complex are offered a safer and more secure living environment. Concierge staff will also ensure the high rise blocks are kept clean as well as carrying out regular checks/inspections of the building to minimise vandalism etc. There will be associated administrative duties.
Hours of work - required to work on a rotating shift pattern of 12 hours. This will include night shift and weekend working. Occasional overtime may be required from time to time. Relief Concierge covers shifts which have become vacant due to leave of full time staff. There is no guarantee of the number of shifts available in any given month.
2014-87 Vehicle Workshop Manager 18 December 2014
Location: Vehicle Maintenance Department, Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Ballymena
Salary: £24,892 - £32,072 (max starting salary £28,922 p.a.)
The Vehicle Workshop Manager is the Senior Technical Officer responsible for the maintenance of all Housing Executive owned/leased vehicles and machinery and has direct responsibility for the day to day operations of the vehicle workshop and supervision of its staff.
2014-86 Grounds Supervisor 18 December 2014
Location: South Region Craigavon
Salary: £16,998 - £26,539 (max starting salary £21,067 p.a.)
The Grounds Supervisor will report to the Grounds Manager and, as part of the Regional Grounds Maintenance team, is primarily responsible for the provision of an effective and efficient planned maintenance programme.  This role also includes the identification and monitoring of rehabilitation works programme and supervision of the response maintenance Tree Surgery Service.

Initial appointment will be made to the post of Senior Human Resources Officer within the Learning & Development Centre of Excellence.  The post-holder will be subject to job rotation across other Senior HR Officer roles within the HR Centres of Excellence and will support the HR Manager in the planning, supervision and operational delivery of a range of HR services including Employment Relations, Attendance Management, Recruitment & Selection, HR Policy & Industrial Relations, and Learning & Development.

Reporting directly to and supporting the Director of Landlord Services, the Head of DLO will be responsible for ensuring that the DLO operates to a high standard, meeting the needs of residents across Northern Ireland. As a senior officer you will have the commercial acumen needed to provide performance, financial and quality assurance information on which sound operational and strategic decisions can be made.

Location: Audit and Assurance Department, The Housing Centre, 2 Adelaide St., Belfast
Salary: £24,892 - £32,072 (Max starting salary: £28,922. p.a)
The AAD Technical Inspection Officer (QS) will be part of a team that delivers an annual inspection program of planned construction schemes in each Area and Centre to provide assurance to the Housing Executive that schemes are delivered in accordance with policy, procedures and in line with contract and financial payments process from pre-contract estimated cost through to final reconciliation

The management of a section reporting to the Head of Audit and Assurance in the appraisal of the NIHE Risk Management, Control and Corporate Governance.

The Risk & Assurance Manager is responsible to the Corporate Assurance Manager for the development and delivery of the NIHE’s Risk Management Strategy and associated Assurance Framework. They will manage the Corporate Risk Register on behalf of the Board and Senior Management team and provide a challenge function on the effectiveness of management arrangements in place to manage risks to the business objectives. They will also develop and maintain the Assurance Framework.

The Transport Manager is the Senior Technical Officer within the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (N.I.H.E.) solely answerable for all Housing Executive owned/leased vehicles, machinery or attachments used on the public road or Housing Executive owned lands by N.I.H.E. employees, and is responsible for providing professional transport and engineering advice to the Organisation.
This Officer is also responsible for researching, assessing and evaluating the Housing Executive's transport and machinery needs ensuring total compliance with all legal and statutory requirements within a competitive business environment.

Reporting directly to and supporting the Chief Executive, the Company Secretary will instill a modern approach to governance within the Housing Executive .  Working closely with the senior team the postholder will streamline and modernise governance arrangements right across the organisation which will support us in our ambitions to deliver services which are modern, efficient and responsive to our customers.
