We are committed to:
Fairness and equality
Fairness and equality are values that have remained at the heart of our organisation since it was established. We measure the impact of our work and undertake regular policy reviews. These reviews include employment issues and Equality Impact Assessments and working along with our partners in the Consultative Forum.
Integrity and honesty
We always aim to deal with people respectfully and work hard to be recognised as an organisation that is principled and trustworthy.
Openness and accountability
We always try to work in ways that allow people to know our reasons for making specific decisions. We honour both the letter and the spirit of our Freedom of Information and Data Protection responsibilities.
Care for the environment
We have an Environmental Management Policy that aims to minimise any adverse effects our actions have on the environment. We also work with contractors and suppliers to minimise their environmental impact on the work they do for us.
Responsive to our customers
We use research to measure customer satisfaction and we consult before taking major decisions that affect our customers. We listen our customers views through the Housing Community Network and Community Participation Compacts.
Value for money
We do our best to deliver a first class, value for money service .
Valuing and developing our staff
We understand that staff make an organisation. We treat them fairly and make sure that they have all the necessary support, training and recognition they need.
Innovation and creativity
We continually try to develop, encourage and adapt imaginative approaches to housing issues in Northern Ireland. We take this approach with our partners, stakeholders and customers to ensure the best possible services.
Our mission statement
"Working together to ensure that everyone has access to a decent affordable home in a safe and healthy community"
