Local social enterprise provides holistic experience for Dungannon

A new social enterprise based in Dungannon is stretching its business thanks to funding from Social Housing Enterprise Investment Scheme.
Through our Social Enterprise Investment Fund, £1,000 was awarded to local business Serenity Holistic Wellness CIC.
Jackie Grimley founder of Serenity Holistic Wellnesss CIC identified a need in the market for holistic therapies and approaches in order to support and empower individuals, through the development of “Your Mind Your Time” project.
Jackie is a qualified holistic therapist who is passionate and motivated to help increase awareness of the importance of looking after well-being and self-care.
Based at The Cube in the Dungannon Enterprise Centre, Serenity Holistic Wellness CIC offers a range of holistic services, along with Functional Reflex Therapy workshops for carers and family members supporting children and adults with Autism, additional needs and mental health conditions.
The business established itself in the Dungannon area as a sanctuary for people experiencing difficulties and stresses to receive professional, holistic treatment on their doorstep.
The social housing enterprise scheme has enabled Jackie to purchase essential equipment and materials necessary to deliver her services.
Jackie, with over 5years experience in the profession said “Your Mind Your Time” aims to enhance the livelihoods of the people based in the Dungannon and surrounding areas who are dealing with physical, emotional mental and stressful difficulties ie stress, depression illness to name a few.
“The business offers an opportunity for people coping with difficulties to escape from what can be a very stressful time to a place of peace and tranquillity and avail of the highly skilled, confidential and professional services on offer. The project is geared towards all walks of life for individuals aged teenagers and upwards.
“The Social Housing Enterprise Investment Scheme has supported me to fulfil my dreams in offering a service much needed for people in today’s stress full, fast paced life style. The funding has kick started my idea and given me the confidence to set up at Dungannon Enterprise Centre.

“Serenity Holistic Wellness CIC has established itself in the Dungannon area as a sanctuary for all to receive professional, holistic treatments on their doorstep.
“The Social Enterprise Investment Fund offers individuals and groups the opportunity to proceed with their entrepreneurial aspirations, whilst benefitting the local community in which they live.”
