Our latest community welcome pack, aimed at people new to the Village area of Belfast, is now available online.
The Greater Village area is one of Belfast’s oldest and longest established communities and the area is currently experiencing a lot of physical change through large scale housing redevelopment. However the heart of this community is its people; and the Northern Irish have a reputation around the world for their hospitality. The welcome pack has been produced to help families integrate into local life more easily.
Arriving in a different community or country can be exciting but also a challenging experience. Many aspects of daily life and services may be different. This welcome pack gives basic information about local services and how to access them.
The Greater Village community is very much committed to promoting equality of opportunity and good relations between the citizens in the local area.
