Telephone Survey: Housing Benefit Services

Commencing late May 2022

As part of a research project that aims to help us improve the services we provide to our Housing Benefit customers, the Housing Executive’s Research Unit has commissioned Cognisense, an independent market research company based in Northern Ireland, to conduct telephone interviews with a sample of current and former Housing Benefit customers.  They will make initial contact by letter, from mid-May 2022.  This will be followed up over the coming weeks, when Cognisense will attempt to contact customers by telephone, with an invitation to take part in the research.

Telephone Interviews – March 2022

We have asked a research company – Savanta ComRes – to carry out research with the aim of helping us to better understand the experiences of our tenants.  As part of this work, Savanta ComRes are due to carry out a number of telephone interviews with current and former Housing Executive tenants who started, or changed, their tenancies between April 2015 and March 2021.  The topics covered will include the journey into the tenancy, experience of contacting the Housing Executive, how responsive we’ve been, and how we can improve the services we provide. 

Savanta ComRes will attempt to make contact with a sample of current and former tenants during March 2022.  Current tenants included in the sample should receive a letter about the research before they are contacted by telephone, while former tenants may be contacted by phone or email.
