Calling a Supplier to Switch
When you have made a decision and selected a new energy supplier, you will need to call this provider to switch your account.
You could be asked some questions when you call to switch. Have a copy of a recent bill
You may be asked about:
your current tariff (price per unit of electricity)
how much you spend?
your MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number). This is shown on your electricity bill
your keypad number used to top-up your meter
Are you currently receiving an incentive discount?
Don’t forget to check for any incentives they may offer?
