New appointment for North Down and Ards

Philip is now responsible for the local offices in Bangor and Newtownards

We recently appointed Philip O’Flaherty as Housing Services Manager for the North Down and Ards area.
Philip has been with the Housing Executive since 1977 and is now responsible for the local offices in Bangor and Newtownards covering an area stretching from Holywood to Portaferry.  He is based in Strangford House, Newtownards.
Over the past 37 years Philip has worked with the Housing Executive he has held a variety of positions in a range of divisions including finance, land and property, internal audit and housing benefit.  Philip has worked in a number of local offices as both assistant manager and manager.  Most recently he was manager in Lisburn’s Dairy Farm office.  
Speaking about his new role Philip said:
“I was pleased to be appointed Housing Services Manager for North Down and Ards.  The role gives me the opportunity to ensure the continued delivery of a comprehensive housing service to the residents of the area.  The local offices’ teams already have a reputation for a high standard of service which I look forward to supporting.  
As part of his role Philip will build on the already well-established good working relationship the areas’ offices have with Housing Executive tenants, network of local community groups, housing associations working in the area and elected representatives.
