The Causeway Charity team has raised over £600 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Causeway Social Responsibility Committee organises a practical challenge and a fund raiser each year. This is the second year and the committee chose to support the Alzheimer's Society with an annual pub quiz.
Sharon Neely, from the Alzheimer Society’s fundraising team, spoke about the impact the disease has on the individual and also on their family members and the importance of fundraising events to raise awareness and vital funds for their campaign.
Noeleen Connolly, of the Charity committee, said: “It was with great pleasure that we were able to raise the grand total of £625. Raising such a large sum is reflective of the generosity of all the staff in the Causeway area, who helped make the event so worthwhile.”
