CIHNI Housing Awards 2015 shortlist unveiled

The shortlist for the 2015 Housing Awards has been announced.
Best practice and the great work that happens across the housing sector in Northern Ireland is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH-NI) in its annual Housing Awards.
The ceremony, which takes place in Belfast City Hall on February 27th, will see a range of organisations vying for titles including Rising Star, Housing Hero and the Best Housing Story, among others.
Our initiatives and staff have been shortlisted in ten categories. They include:
Building Relationships in Communities (bric) nominated in the Raising Standards Awards, Paddy Rooney White, a Sustaining Tenancy officer has been nominated for an Excellence in Customer Service Award whilst staff member Eileen Thompson has also been shortlisted as a Rising Star.
Shortlisted for the Promoting Integration award is Brookfield and Edenderry Combined Community Association. Whilst our community involvement work in the Causeway area and the work of the West Belfast and Shankill Tenant Scrutiny Panel have been nominated by Supporting Communities Northern Ireland.
The winner of the Best Housing Story 2015 will be chosen by public vote online
We have four shortlisted entries in the Best Housing Story 2015. They include Chris Convery, a neighbourhood officer in Antrim; Margaret McGuickin from our Belfast Accounts team; our annual community conference and the NI Street League/Homeless World Cup.
