Don’t forget to speak to our staff at the Belfast Self Build Show
Staff from our Sustainable Development Unit will be at the Belfast Self Build Show 16-18 February
With over 250 exhibitors, the Belfast Self Build Show gives attendees the chance to get inspiration, ideas and advice about building or improving their home. There will also be a range of clinics and workshops at the event in the Titanic Exhibition Centre.
Our Sustainable Development Manager, Robert Clements, explains why we are getting involved, “As the Home Energy Conservation Authority for Northern Ireland we’re here to help people make their homes more energy efficient. The Self Build Show is an excellent opportunity for us to provide advice to the 40,000 visitors that are expected to attend the 3 day event.
“They are in the process of building or improving their home so we can help them with choosing efficient heating systems and insulation as well as give advice on renewable energy. This means they can potentially save money on their energy bills and reduce their CO2 emissions.”
If you’re going to the show make sure you come down to stand D33 and chat to the team about the work you’re doing to your home.
You can also get more information on energy saving measures and how you can reduce your household bills by ringing the Energy Advice Line on 0800 142 2865.
