Brand new landscaping has brightened up part of a housing estate in Limavady, thanks to us.
Over £12,000 has been invested in the Anderson Park area to install a new community planting garden space, which is ready to bloom over the summer months.
Bovally Community Group identified the area as needing improvement and after approaching our staff, the Grounds Maintenance team swung into action.
Janice McClay, Treasurer of the Bovally Community Group explained, “We wanted to improve the visual look of the wider area and we felt this was a site that could be spruced up.
“Thanks to the Housing Executive for investing in our area and helping us create something for all the residents to enjoy – we are all very grateful for this fantastic new installation.”
This work comes on the back of a further investment in the renovation of the Bowvally Community House and work is now underway.
It is hoped improved facilities can help support very positive work in the area, including the DRIVE Project which helps deepen the relationship between local young people, aged five-thirteen years old, and their wider natural environment.
Mark Alexander, our Area Manager for Causeway, said:
“We were delighted to provide support for this project, which really does brighten up the local area.
“We hope Bovally Community Group and the wider community, in particular the children of the area, enjoy the new installation and we can’t wait to see it in bloom.
