Yellow warning of snow and ice is in place from 7.00pm Thursday 3rd March to 3.00pm on Friday 4th March 2016.
A band of rain, sleet and hill snow is expected to cross Northern Ireland on Thursday afternoon. Snow is not currently espected to be disruptive at low levels in most areas. Ice may prove a hazard on untreated surfaces.
During Friday, the band of rain, sleet and snow will slowly edge southwards.
This will affect County Antrim, County Armagh, County Down, County Fermanagh County Londonderry and County Tyrone.
