Help secure ‘Community Green Prescription’ funding

Votes are being sought for funding for a pilot project linking patients from local GP practices to environmental activity programmes in their area.
Northern Ireland Environment Link’s Community Green Prescriptions project, delivered in partnership with the Belfast Hills Project and Mourne Heritage Trust, uses the natural environment to help tackle some aspects of illness and promote health and wellbeing.
‘A Dose of the Great Outdoors’ is being prescribed to local people and votes are being sought for up to £10,000 in funding from the Aviva Community Fund.
