Statement Regarding Nolan Show 09/08/2021

Following the recent Nolan Show coverage of our pest control service to one of our tenants, we want to reassure all our tenants we are absolutely committed to providing them with good quality services.

We are extremely disappointed that, in this case, we failed to meet standards that our tenants expect and are entitled to. We have apologised directly to the tenant for the upset and distress caused, and continue to work directly with her to ensure the issue remains resolved.
 
Director of Housing Services Colm McQuillan said, "We must ensure we learn lessons, and to that end, have initiated an immediate review of what happened in this case and will take appropriate action. Yesterday, I briefed the Housing Executive Board and Executive Team on the case and the review. We will use this time to improve our processes and practices to ensure that this service failure does not occur again.”
