ONSIDE is a cross border project led by Disability Action Northern Ireland in partnership with   Northern Ireland Housing Executive; Supporting Communities and the Independent Living Movement Ireland.. It will reduce social isolation amongst disabled people through the co-production of a digital inclusion programme, involving community mapping, navigation and peer advocacy. It will result in improved mental and physical health outcomes amongst disabled people, while empowering them to fulfill their potential as active citizens within their communities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree or equivalent Third Level Qualification plus 1 year’s experience - both should clearly demonstrate relevant experience in digital and/or disability inclusion and community development.

  • To assist in the support of the integrated financial management system and ancillary systems

Job purpose:

To take a lead role, under the direction of the IT Systems Development Manager, in the design, development and delivery of high quality technology solutions that address business needs.

Lead the development of bespoke applications and/or COTS applications that are deployed within the Housing Executive.

To lead & supervise a team of developers and assign resources to activities within the development lifecycle.

In this capacity the Lead Developer will be expected to play a major part in defined areas without close supervision. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have:-

1) A degree or professional/technical qualification of an equivalent academic level, plus a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience within the last 5 years

Exceptionally, candidates not holding the above level of qualification but with 3 years’ relevant experience within the last 5 years may also be considered.
