The Housing Executive is one of the largest housing bodies in the UK and we provide a service that helps to change people’s lives through housing. 

We employ more than 3,000 people across Northern Ireland, and in May 2018 we became first large public sector organisation in Northern Ireland to gain Investors in People Silver Level Award in respect of the new IIP assessment framework.

Job purpose: 

The post holder with regard to Mechanical Inspection will provide an inspection service on all Natural Gas, Oil, planned and response maintenance contracts to ensure the NIHE that all installations, servicing, and maintenance has been carried out in accordance with the contract documentation and the Statutory Regulations, materials and workmanship.

The post holder will inspect and measure works completed at various stages throughout construction including relevant certifications updating these on the NIHE computer database and maintain detailed records. The post holder will forward a report on their findings to the M&E Project Manager/Inspectorate Manager on a weekly basis.
