Larchfield Gardens – simply the best

Larchfield Gardens in Kilrea has been named Northern Ireland’s Best Kept Medium Housing Area at the 2025 Best Kept Awards NI.

Organised by the Northern Ireland Amenity Council (NIAC) the awards celebrate the dedication and hard work of volunteers, improvement groups and Councils who have made outstanding contributions to improving their local environment.

Amy McCullough, Housing Executive Patch Manager, Coleraine said, “We would like to commend the residents of Larchfield Gardens for their dedication to maintaining the estate’s beautiful appearance.

“Great care and effort has been invested to ensure that the area remains well kept by the residents who proudly call the estate home.

“Building on this community spirit, our grounds maintenance team has plans to further enhance the estate with a new entrance feature and a wildflower meadow.

“We thank all involved for helping make Larchfield Gardens a place to be proud of.”
