Major £2m Housing Executive improvement scheme underway in West Belfast

A major scheme to improve and enhance nearly 500 Housing Executive properties is underway in West Belfast.
As part of an investment of nearly £2M, the properties in the Andersonstown area are benefiting from a range of exterior improvements including roof repairs, new doors, fencing and redecoration.
Margaret Marley, the Housing Executive’s Area Manager for West Belfast, said: “Planned improvement works like these are part of our continued commitment to improving our housing stock.
“We’re now well on our way to completing this important scheme which also includes replacing eaves, installing new fascia and handrails to the exterior properties.
“Schemes like these are vitally important to keep our properties in good condition for years to come.
“A huge thanks to our contractor S&D Property Maintenance for their diligence as these works progress at pace.”
