NIHE launches public consultation on draft Community Safety Strategy 2025 – 2030

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive has launched a public consultation on their draft Community Safety Strategy 2025 – 2030.
Housing Executive Community Safety Manager, Ciarrai Reilly, explained: "We have developed our draft Community Safety Strategy by working with our partner agencies across the statutory, voluntary and community sectors.
“We know anti-social behaviour can have a huge impact on individuals and communities. This strategy sets out a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to addressing anti-social behaviour through engaging with residents, fostering collaborative partnerships and using evidence-based interventions.
“It focuses on our key priorities of building community confidence, identifying local solutions and sets out how we will work together with other agencies to improve community safety.
“Over the coming weeks, we are encouraging as many people as possible to participate in the public consultation. It can be accessed on our website.
It’s a great opportunity for everyone to view the strategy and have their say in how we develop and deliver our services.
Mrs Reilly continued: "We are committed to fostering a culture of mutual respect, responsibility, and pride within our social housing communities. This consultation gives everyone the chance to have their say. Feeback and views will help us to shape, develop and deliver a strategy that will improve community safety across Northern Ireland.”
