Update on repairs delivered by our contractor Mamo
Housing Executive Chief Executive, Grainia Long, said; “We were deeply concerned to learn of the fire at the depot of our contractor Mamo over the weekend.
“We were very relieved that no one was hurt and we have already expressed our solidarity with senior management at the company at this extremely stressful time.
We have offered our support in the coming days to ensure working arrangements return to normal as quickly as possible.
“In terms of the contracts Mamo facilitates on our behalf, it is broadly business as usual.
“Emergency and urgent repairs will be continue to be attended to.
“Non-urgent repairs may see some delays.
“However, we will focus on clearing these as quickly as possible in the time ahead, with the possibility of additional support from our own internal teams and local sub-contractors.
“We would urge tenants with repairs to continue to report them via our Customer Service Unit or the tenant portal where they will be triaged, as normal.
“We will provide further updates in due course.”
