Advice NI

Advice NI’s free and confidential money and debt service provides advice to those who are struggling to deal with debt. The service is funded by the Department for Communities.

Specialist debt advisers can offer solutions and advice on any type of debt, including:

• credit cards

• loans

• mortgages

• rent arrears

They can advise on budgeting, offer solutions, and assist on the chosen solution and negotiate with creditors.

Some of the outcomes can include:

• debt management plans including token payments

• debt relief orders

• individual voluntary arrangement

• bankruptcy advice

• full and final agreements

• write offs

The money and debt advisers are based in Advice NI member organisations across Northern Ireland.
