We are conducting a rural housing need test in Ballyronan to determine the level of need for social and affordable housing in the area. To promote this we are running a Dream Home art competition for children aged 5-12 from the area.

As part of the competition we are calling out to any budding builders and architects to design the home they would most like to live in with winners receiving a brand new Amazon Fire.

Kids can create their fantasy home using a smartphone or tablet, a PC or pen and paper. Parents can also download and print off our My Dream Home template here.

All entries should be sent to Rural.housing@nihe.gov.uk or The Rural Unit, 2^nd floor, Housing Centre, 2 Adelaide Street, Belfast, BT2 8PB by 4pm on Friday 18^th September.
