Poleglass Housing Executive tenant delighted with revamp

Poleglass tenant Catherine Brady is delighted with her newly revamped home – part of a £1m Housing Executive scheme in the area.
Over 90 homes in Old Colin and Colinmill are being given new bathroom and kitchen upgrades.
This improvement scheme also includes an electrical upgrade and new smoke alarms.
Catherine said:
“I am absolutely over the moon with the work that has been done to my home – it has given it a bright, new, modern makeover.
“I was told it would be fitted with a new bathroom and kitchen just two days after I moved in, which was fantastic news.
“I got to pick my own colour scheme and have decorated the rooms to my own taste, so that they are more homely.
“The workmen were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. I am so pleased with the result and it has made my home so much more comfortable and pleasant.”
Patch manager Liam McKenna said:
“We are delighted that Catherine is so happy with her revamped home.
“It will make all the difference to her quality of life to have up to date, functional facilities like these that are also stylish and smart.
“We are committed to providing the highest quality services and high standards of improvements.
“We’d also like to thank the contractors PK Murphy for their efficiency and professionalism on this job.”
