The Video Relay Service (VRS) supplier for our British Sign Language (BSL) and Irish Sign Language (ISL) customers has changed to SignVideo.
Customers will continue to be able to contact us through VRS. Staff will be able to speak directly to deaf customers via a Sign Language interpreter.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, you can get in touch with us using online British (BSL) and Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpretation.

SignVideo is a free service that will connect your call to a qualified online BSL or ISL interpreter. The interpreter will relay the conversation between you and a member of staff.

How it works?
There are two ways you can use SignVideo:
When you open the app, you will see the SignDirectory.
Scroll down the SignDirectory and look for the service you want to call.
Click on the button for that service and a SignVideo interpreter will appear on your screen to interpret your conversation.

What do I need?
To use SignVideo, you will need three minimum requirements:
- Window PC app
- Apple Mac app
- iOS app
- Android app
- SignVideo Web
- This can be built in or plugged in to your device.
- Good internet connection
- For the best experience, we advise having a minimum 2mbps upload and download internet speed. Your internet connection can be any of the following:
- 3G, 4G, 5G mobile network
- Plugged in broadband/Ethernet
