In response to Public Health Agency guidelines following the COVID-19 outbreak, we have had to review how we provide our services so we can protect our tenants and customers. This is why we have closed all public facing areas in our offices and suspended staff visits to tenants’ homes.

We are encouraging customers to complete a range of services online where possible.

Report a repair

Click on the ‘Report’ section on the homepage and select ‘Repairs’ on the drop down menu. This will give you the option to report repairs to your home. We are currently only undertaking Emergency Repairs.

Paying your bills

Click on the ‘Pay’ section on the homepage and select your preferred payment method. There are a range of different ways to pay including setting up a direct debit, making a payment through PayPoint and downloading the allpay app.

Applying for a home

To apply for social housing (Housing Executive and Housing Association homes) click on the ‘Apply’ section on the homepage and select ‘Apply For A Home’.  This will take you to an online home application form which you will need to complete and submit.

Applying for or making a change to a Housing Benefit claim

To make a new claim click on the ‘Apply’ section on the homepage and select ‘Claim Housing Benefit’.  This will take you to an online Housing Benefit claim form which you will need to complete and submit.  Please note you can only make a new claim for Housing Benefit if:

  • You have been placed in temporary accommodation by the Housing Executive
  • You live in supported accommodation (including sheltered housing for older people)
  • You are getting Severe Disability Premium as part of a benefit you are claiming
  • You are of pensionable age (if you have a partner you both need to be of pensionable age to apply)

You can also report a change in circumstances to your current Housing Benefit claim on our website. To do this click on the ‘Report’ section on the homepage and select ‘Change of circumstances’.

If you do not meet these criteria you may be entitled to Universal Credit. Visit the nidirect website to find out the criteria and apply.

Applying for Discretionary Housing Payment

If you’re living in privately rented accommodation you could be entitled to additional help, on top of Housing Benefit or Universal Credit, to pay your rent in the form of a Discretionary Housing Payment.

To find out if you’re entitled click on the ‘Apply’ section on the homepage and select ‘Discretionary Housing Payment’.

You will then be asked to fill out a simple form, this is the same for both Universal Credit and Housing Benefit claimants, and then click submit.
