Ways to pay your ground rent

We offer several ways for you to pay your ground rent.

Paying your ground rent charges online is one of the quickest and safest ways to pay.

Pay your ground rent online - all you need to make a payment is a valid debit/credit card and your 19 digit ground rent barcode number that can be found at the bottom of your notice.

Simply choose Barcoded Invoice from the drop and enter your 19 digit bar code in the NIHE card number followed by the amount you are paying and card details.

If you experience any problem when making payment let us know by sending an email, please include as much information and one of the team will get back to you (Mon – Fri)

If you make regular payments online you also have the option to set up an automatic recurring card payment schedule.
  
You can choose to schedule weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual payments.
  
To set up a recurring card payment schedule simply visit ‘My Payment Schedules’ once you have registered online.

From here you can set-up or cancel your recurring card payment schedules.

*Please note that payment will continue to be made until you cancel the payment schedule.

**In the event of insufficient funds on the selected date payment may be processed up to 2 days after the scheduled payment date.  There will be no charge incurred for failed payment attempts.

All you need to make a payment is your 19 digit barcode reference number that can be found at the bottom of your Ground Rent notice and a valid bank card.  

With over 27,000 locations across the UK, and more than 450 locations in Northern Ireland, you are never too far from a PayPoint store to make a payment using your ground rent barcode which can be found at the bottom of your notice.

Just look out for the Paypoint logo at your local retail store

Paying your ground rent on the go is easy with our payment app.

All you need to make payment on your mobile device is your 19 digit barcode reference number that can be found at the bottom of your Ground Rent notice and a valid bank card.  

Simply click on ‘Barcoded Invoice’ and enter your details.

Once you have registered you will be able to make payment at the touch of a button 24hrs a day, 7 days a week on your mobile device.

You will also have access to a unique bar code that allows you to make cash payment at in any store displaying the PayPoint logo.

You can also make payment without registering on the app (you will not then receive the unique barcode or your payment history).

The app also gives you access to your payment history.

You can now pay your ground rent charges by setting up a recurring card payment, simply call a member of the team on 028 9598 4175 or 028 9598 5246 to set up or alternatively send us an email including your name, reference number and telephone number so that one of the team can call you back. 

You can make a one-off payment or set up a standing order via your online banking provider.
 
Payment can be made to The Housing Executive using the account details:

Account Number:     01121235

You need to quote your 7 digit Ground Rent number - for example GR00123.  
If you do not quote this reference it will result in the payment not reaching your account.
