Finding out about our tenders

All tenders for construction, supplies and services with an estimated value exceeding £30,000 in value will be advertised on eTendersNI

Note: Contracts above the EC Procurement Threshold are publicly advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union. Further information is available on the OJEU website

Frameworks

We may also use a framework contract awarded by another public sector body such as the Government Procurement Service, Central Procurement Directorate, Department of Finance provided their procurement procedures involved adequate competition and achieved reasonable value for money. If this is the case then we comply with the relevant procurement protocol agreed by the public sector.

Requirements for Tendering

Buildsafe-NI

Tenderers, and their Sub-Contractors, interested in working on government construction contracts are reminded of the change which came into effect on the 31st December 2012, regarding Health and Safety Management systems for first-tier subcontractors.

Main contractors are required to ensure that all their first-tier subcontractors with 5 or more employees have a Health and Safety Management System certified by a 3rd party.

Constructionline

As outlined in section B3 of the Standing Orders & Board Scheme Delegations document, tenders of a certain value require tenderers to be registered on Constructionline.  Further information on how to register with Constructionline can be found at:
