We are here to help
Our Freefone Service is changing.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has brought challenges for us all. Our priority is the well-being of our communities, colleagues and their families. So, we have temporarily cancelled all face-to-face meetings and any other outreach activity.
We continue to focus on the best way to help you save energy. We are now 'live’ and would like to reassure our customers that we are here to help.
You can contact our Energy Advisers through our:
Or by email at NIenergyadvice@nihe.gov.uk
We can help you with:
energy efficiency for your home
switching your fuel provider
energy efficiency grant advice
joining your local Oil Buying Club
making energy cost savings
managing your fuel bills
heating your home.
In line with Government guidelines, and when it is safe to do so, we will refresh the current NI Energy Advice Line. Our Freefone Service has changed. Our Energy Advisers are available to support you through our new online tools.
As a result we are taking the following steps.

We would ask users to contact us through our online 'Get in Touch' form in the first instance.
If necessary, we will call you back. This will remain a free and impartial service.
We are also encouraging users to:
We appreciate your patience at this challenging time. NI Energy Advice will continue to focus on energy savings and reducing Fuel Poverty in Northern Ireland.
A new helpline number will launch in summer 2020.
