This NI-wide service offers free and impartial advice to all NI households.

We focus on the best way to help you save energy. We ensure that energy-efficiency advice is targeted actively at vulnerable households, those that will benefit most from energy efficiency related advice.

As the One-Stop Shop for energy advice across Northern Ireland, we offer you information to help with energy efficiency grant signposting, renewable energy advice, energy saving tips, how to switch energy provider, debt assistance, fuel poverty advice signposting and how to benefit from oil-buying savings across NI.

You can contact our Energy Advisers now:

Or by email at NIenergyadvice@nihe.gov.uk

Corresponding over email allows you to receive all necessary information in a return email, rather than over a phone call -– you can exchange your details for referral to Boiler Replacement Scheme etc.

We can help you with:

  • energy efficiency for your home
  • switching your fuel provider
  • energy efficiency grant advice
  • making savings with or NI-wide Oil Buying Network
  • making energy cost savings
  • renewable energy information – solar, air/ground source heat pumps, etc.
  • managing your fuel bills
  • heating your home
