    Working to make a brighter future together in Foreglen

    Following the completion of an external maintenance scheme and kitchen replacement scheme, which saw the Housing Executive invest over £750,000 for its tenants in the rural area of Foreglen, local residents proposed the idea of a planting project to complement the improved appearance of the village.

    The Housing Executive has installed new kitchens and bathrooms in tenants’ homes in the Amelia Court and McCartney Park areas of Shantallow, Derry-Londonderry.

    Community beach artwork launches clean coasts week

    Local charity Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, is calling for volunteers across Northern Ireland to get involved in Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week, which runs from 1st-9th June 2019. In collaboration with the Housing Executive and other local organisations, the charity hopes to inspire you to help preserve our coastline for generations to come.

    Community Safety Warden Service making an impact in Antrim & Newtownabbey

    The Housing Executive has partly funded a community safety warden scheme across Antrim & Newtownabbey. Working in partnership with Antrim & Newtownabbey Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PSCP), the scheme provides wardens in local estates at peak times to tackle anti-social behaviour and minor crime.

    Research into cavity wall insulation in social housing and private homes in Northern Ireland has been published today. The research was commissioned in 2017 by the Housing Executive on the back of concerns about the standard of cavity wall insulation in its own properties.
