How we deal with your complaint

When you report anti-social behaviour to us, we will:

  • deal with your complaint as soon as possible
  • investigate the reported anti-social behaviour by interviewing everyone involved
  • work  with voluntary and statutory agencies where necessary to address the possible cause of the behaviour
  • take whatever action is necessary to resolve the anti-social behaviour

We may help you with an action plan.

We may ask you to keep an incident diary to record any further incidents while the case is being investigated.

What we can do

Most of the reports of anti-social behaviour we receive are minor and do not require legal intervention. We will examine all reports fairly. The actions that we take will depend on the seriousness of the behaviour.
