Our Community Safety Strategy

Building Safer Communities Together- Community Safety Strategy 2025-2030

We are committed to improving community safety, creating safe and prosperous communities for all our social housing tenants.

We will do this by building on our three key strategic aims:

  • building community confidence
  • ensuring local solutions and
  • working together

To assist us in delivering our strategic aims we will take a flexible approach, responding to new challenges, stakeholder engagement and opportunities as they arise.

We work with other agencies, groups and tenants to deal with anti-social behaviour (ASB).  Our new Community Safety Strategy builds on this work with our partners.

It highlights the actions that we have taken in recent years to build better communities.

We want every resident to:

  • feel safe in their home
  • enjoy living in their neighbourhood
  • report any anti-social behaviour to us

We need help to make our communities safe. Through ongoing collaboration, community engagement and evidence-based interventions we will build safer communities together.

We will work with you to make your community a welcoming place to live and visit.
